On 13.02.2019, Kasaragod police admitted a woman to Snehalaya Psycho- Social Rehabilitation Home for Women at Manjeshwar as she was mentally ill. Vanitha cell of Kasaragod was on their night duty and found a lady nearly 40-year-old with a boy child of one and half year at Kasaragod railway station. She informed to the police that her name is Bihalath. The police of Vanitha Cell took them to Mahila Mandiram of Kasaragod. They informed the Kasaragod police to take the lady for treatment. And the child was given to Kasaragod District Child Welfare Committee. Then the woman was separated from the child and admitted at Snehalaya by Police of Kasaragod. These details were known to us through a letter handed over by the Kasaragod police at the time of admission.
During her admission process at Snehalaya, she had stated her name as Aarti. Then she began to respond to medications given for her mental illness with constant involvement in medical checkups, counseling and various therapeutic activities. She was recovering from her psychological problems. She started asking about her infant who was with her during her rescue by Police. Realizing this, the Psychiatric Social Workers of Snehalaya, began to look for the answers to many unanswered questions about the child’s whereabouts. The search for the child’s whereabouts was launched under the direction of the Managing Trustee Brother Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya Charitable Trust.
Team Snehalaya made a phone call to the Mahila Mandiram asking for the child and the only answer was that the child had been handed over to “Pattuvat ‘ Baal Vikas Bhavan. With this information, team Snehalaya visited the Kasaragod District Child Welfare Committee on March 27th 2021 to provide the information of the child to the mother. After explaining the facts, the mother requested to give her a chance to see the child. When team Snehalaya and the said mother found a poor response from them, they gave a written request to give the custody of the child to the mother. But her request was denied as CWC said that the so called mother should come with her family with proper documents.
A fight for justice was began, it was a very difficult task to find the family of Arathi. Finally, on November 30, 2021, the Snehalaya team traced Aarti’s family in Bihar and the details. Her real name was Kanchanadevi, her husband Sanjay Bind, originally from Odawar village of Bihar, and she is a mother of 5 children and at the birth of 5th child, Karthik – Kailash she became mentally ill and left the house with three month old boy child. The family members searched for the mother and child but couldn’t able to find them.
After finding the address, the team Snehalaya contacted and communicated with family members and documents were sent to us. With this documents Psychiatric Social Worker and Arati visited Kasaragod District child welfare committee on December 3rd, 2021, but even then, there was no response and no reply to the letter given in March 2021. Again the mother was denied for an opportunity to see her child.
On December 6th, 2021, Snehalaya team visited Kasaragod Police, Kasaragod District Child Welfare Committee, Women and Child Welfare Department, District Child Protection Officer and District Collectorate requesting to give the custody of the child to it’s mother.
Team Snehalaya was in contact with the family members and Sanjay Bindh, husband of Arathi and his cousin came down to Snehalaya to take back Arathi and her child. On 09.12.2021 Snehalaya filed an application to District Child Protection officer seeking justice for the mother and child. And after 2 days with the cooperation of DCPO the child was shown to the parents for a moment. The parents met the District Collectorate and requested for the custody of the child. At the discretion of the District Collector, all documents were presented to the Kasaragod District Child Welfare Committee by the child’s mother on 14 December 2021. But they refused, saying all these documents were not reliable even the Aadhaar Card and Voter ID.
The special meeting at DC office was held on December 17th, 2021, in the presence of the Officers of District Child Protection Unit, Chairman of Kasaragod District Child Welfare Committee, District Social Justice Officer , Founder of Snehalaya, Social Workers and parents of the Child. It was observed that after the claim from the mother for the custody of her child in March 2021 to the Kasaragod District Welfare Committee, in the month of October 2021 the child had been given for poster care. The District Collector enquired about this. And ordered for DNA test of Mother and said child under the direction of the District Child Protection Unit.
On 19th December 2021, the sample of the mother and child was taken for the DNA test at District Government Hospital of Kasaragod On 27th December 2021. DNA results confirmed that Arati was the biological mother of the child. On 28th December 2021, on the basis of DNA results, the parents requested for the custody of the child. But the child was not given and they were asked to come after 2 days.
However on 31.12. 2021 at 01.30 noon, CWC Kasraagod gave the custody of the child to its biological parents. Thus the journey for the justice for Mother and child which was started on March 2021, ended after 9 months – with a visit, meeting and discussion for more than 13 times at Kasaragod District Government authorities. Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar thank the District Collectorate, District Social Justice Committee and District Child Protection Unit who assisted in this journey and provide the justice for the mother and child.
ಹೆತ್ತ ಕರುಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ
ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧೩.೦೨.೨೦೧೯ ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವನಿತಾ ಸೆಲ್ನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯೆಟ್ ಡ್ಯೂಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು ೪೦ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದೂವರೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಪೋಲಿಸರು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಬಿಹಾಲತ್ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯ್ತು. ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಂದಿರದವರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೋಲಿಸರು ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದ ಪತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗುವ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಆರತಿ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತದನಂತರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಥೆರಪಿಗಳು, ಯೋಗ ವ್ಯಾಯಮ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಔಷದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸತೊಡಗಿದಳು .ಅದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯು ಗುಣಮುಖಳಾಗತೊಡಗಿದಳು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಇದ್ದ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿzಳು. ಇದನ್ನು ಮನಗಂಡ ಅಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚಕರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಗು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬ ಹಲವಾರು ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತ ವರ್ಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಗುವಿನ ಇರುವಿಕೆಯ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಮಗುವಿನ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಮಗು ಈಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವನ್ನು “ಪಟ್ಟುವತ್ತ್’ ಶಿಶು ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಭವನ್ ಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಉತ್ತರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಲಭಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಆರತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಚ್-೨೭ -೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಂತರದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು. ಸತ್ಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಒಂದು ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದರೆ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಉತ್ತರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ತಾಯಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಲಿಖಿತವಾದ ಕೋರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸಮಿತಿಯವರು ಇದು ಇವಳ ಮಗುವಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಶಯದಿAದಲೂ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ದಾಖಲೆ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ತದನಂತರ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ವಿನಿಮಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಇವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಇದೊಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಹೋರಾಟವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೆತ್ತ ಕರುಳಿಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ದೊರಕಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರತಿಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವ ಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಗೂ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ೩೧.೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆರತಿಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಆಕೆಯ ನಿಜವಾದ ಹೆಸರು ಕಾಂಚನದೇವಿ, ಗಂಡ ಸಂಜಯ್ಬಿAದ್, ಮೂಲತಃ ಇವರು ಬಿಹಾರದ ಒಡವರ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದವರು, ಈಕೆಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ೫ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ೫ನೇ ಮಗುವಾದ ಕೈಲಾಸ್ಗೆ ಜನ್ಮನೀಡುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವಳು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಮಗುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರವು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದರೂ ತಾಯಿ- ಮಗು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. .
ವಿಳಾಸ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ೩ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ಆರತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅಂದು ಕೂಡಾ ಅವರು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ತಾಯಿಗೆ ನಿಷೇದಿಸಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡದೆ ಏಕಾಎಕಿಯಾಗಿ
ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಫೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಕೇರ್ಗೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಲಾದ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ಎ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಗುಣಮುಖ ಹೊಂದಿದ ತಾಯಿಯು ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೦೬.೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೋಲಿಸ್, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿ, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವಾರು ಭಾರಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯ್ತು, ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಲಾಯ್ತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ ೦೯.೧೨.೨೦೨೧ರಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕಕ್ಕೂ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು. ಇವರ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ೨ ದಿನದ ನಂತರ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ದೆಶನದಂತೆ ೧೪ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಗುವಿನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯವರು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸನೀಯ ಅಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೧೭ ೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಛೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ಆಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಗುವಿನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬAಧಿಕರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ನಂತರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಯವರು ಈ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ಕೇರ್ಗೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂತು. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯವರು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿ-ಮಗುವಿನ ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ಎ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ .
ಇದರಂತೆ ೧೯ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗುವಿನ ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ಎ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ೨೭ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೨೧ ರಂದು ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ಎ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರತಿಯೇ ಮಗುವಿನ ತಾಯಿ ಎಂಬುವುದಾಗಿ ಧೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಇದರ ನಡುವೆ ೨೪ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ೨೦೨೧ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಕ್ಕು ಅಧಿನಿಯಮದಡಿ ಮಗುವಿನ ಸೋಶಲ್ ಅನಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೋರಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯ್ತು.. ೨೭ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ರಂದು ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ಎ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ತಾಯಿಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ಮಗದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ೨ ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲವಕಾಶ ಪಡೆದು ೩೧.೧೨.೨೦೨೧ರಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ೦೧.೩೦ ಮಗುವನ್ನು ತಂದೆ -ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ೨೦೨೧ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿAದ ಆರಂಭಗೊAಡ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆತ್ತ ಕರುಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಲಭಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
