Under the Pratyasha Project, Mariya Fernandez earlier named as Divya Bharathi at Snehabhavan, Arayangad , Kannur was brought to Snehalaya, Manjeshwar for reunion process on 24th January 2022.
As an inmate she was made to participate in our therapeutic activities and counselling sessions by psychiatric social workers. As per the revelation by Mariya Fernandez, team Snehalaya tried to trace the family details and was able to contact her sister Rosy Fernandez residing in South Goa.
After the telephonic conversations team started their journey to South Goa to reunite Mariya Fernandez with her sister Rosy Fernandez at Goa and reached her house early in morning on 3rd February 2022. Family members were happy to welcome Mariya Fernandez and Team Snehalaya. Rosy Fernandez shared with our team that, she has no clue about the psychiatric problems of her sister. No one else has this problem in their family. Since her childhood, she was living with her mother and had no connections with father and other siblings.
Rosy Fernandez showed gratefulness towards Snehabhawan and Snehalaya for this kind gesture of taking care, providing treatment and reuniting her with her sister who went on missing since 3 years back. The family joyfully agreed to take care of Mariya Fernandez and was ready to take her responsibility.
Mariya Fernandez is happily reunited with her family at Goa which added joy not only to her but to the entire Snehalaya family and Snebhavan family.

ಪ್ರತ್ಯಶಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ದಿವ್ಯ ಭಾರತಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮರಿಯಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು 2022 ರ ಜನವರಿ 24 ರಂದು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಅರೆಯಂಗಾಡ್‌ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಭವನದಿಂದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲಾಯಿತು
ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಮರಿಯಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರಂತೆ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗೋವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿ ರೋಸಿ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ಅವರೊಡನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯಂತೆ ತಂಡವು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗೋವಾಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ 3ನೇ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 2022 ರಂದು ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮರಿಯಾ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.
ರೋಸಿ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರವರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸುಳಿವು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದು,ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಹೋದರಿ ರೋಸಿ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಮರಿಯಾ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.
ಮರಿಯಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡೀಸ್ ಅವರು ಗೋವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಡೀ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಭವನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮರಿಯಾ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರವನ್ನು ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಭವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
