Laxmi aged 55 was brought to Snehalaya for reunion process under ” Prathyasha Project” on 24th January 2022 from Snehabhavan a Rehabilitation Centre at Kannur.

After her arrival to Snehalaya, team members tried to collect the information about her family by contacting the various concerned people and officials. In the month of February Team Snehalaya was successful in finding the details of her family and could get the contact number of her family members. Laxm’is daughter is residing at Mandya and was happy to know about her mother.

As per the discussion with her daughter team Snehalaya started their journey to Mandya and reached her home at Palahalli of Srirangapattana on 22 nd of February 2022. This was indeed a blissful moment to witness the joy and happiness at reunion of Laxmi with her daughter. According to her daughter Laxmi was suffering from mental illness since many years and because of her psychiatric problems she left home 5 years back. They searched for her everywhere, but were not able to find her.

 Laxmi’s daughter and her husband  were very happy to receive her  back to their family after 5 years. Though the reunion is an achievement to Snehalaya, it was  heavenly joy for Laxmi’s family.

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 55 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಭವನ್  ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದು ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಶ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲೆಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 24 ಜನವರಿ 2022 ರಂದು ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಸ್ನೇಹಭವನ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿತು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಕೆಯ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರವನ್ನು ಕಲೆಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು. ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಮೂಲಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ,ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಗಳ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ದೊರಕಿತು. ಇದರಂತೆ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 22-02-2022 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣ  ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಪಾಲಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ  ಆಕೆಯ ಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದರು.

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಯನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿಸುವುದು  ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಆನಂದದಾಯಕ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಈ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರು 5 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮನೆ ತೊರೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

 ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪತಿಯು 5 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಇದೊಂದು ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಲಕ್ಷೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ,ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಭವನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
