Sanju (Ranjana) aged 30 was brought to Snehalaya, Manjeshwar from Mariya Bhavan Kannur on 14/02/2022 for reunion process under Pratyasha Project . During her admission at Snehalaya it is found that she is still having symptoms of psychiatric problems and mood disorders. Along with continuation of her medication and treatment, she was also engaged in therapeutic activities and counselling sessions. According to the information received during the counseling session Team Snehalaya tried to get the details of her native. After few days Team Members came to know that she hails from Nandurbar Taluk of Shahada district, Maharashtra.
Our team tried to contact her family and after telephonic conversation with Police, Officials and family members on 23rd February 2022 they started their journey to reunite her with the family. On 25/02/2022 they were joyfully welcomed by her family and her mother. All of them were happy to see her alive after three years. Her mother said that she had been suffering from psychiatric illness and was under treatment at Duliyan hospital. She went missing three years back. She is a single parent of her child.
They were happy to receive her after three years in a better mental state. Family members expressed their gratefulness towards Snehalaya Psycho – Social Rehabilitation Centre for providing good care, treatment and reuniting Sanju (Ranjana) with her family.
