As per the information received from Bandar Police Station of Mangalore, Mathin aged 45 was admitted to Snehalaya Manjeshwar for care and treatment on 07/09/21.
He had serious psychiatric problems and was violent in his behaviour.
He underwent medical tests and treatment. Slowly he was encouraged to participate in various therapeutic activities. He also participated at counselling sessions. And as the days passed his physical and mental condition improved. He was sent to Shradha Rehabilitation Foundation on 19/01/22 for further reunion process. Based on the information shared by team Snehalaya, Social workers of Shradha Rehabilitation Foundation traced his family at Kadampura of Bihar. His Sister in law welcomed him back home after 3 and 1/2 years. They were happy to see him in good mental condition. According to his sister in law, he has three brothers and two of them are teachers at government school. He had psychiatric issues and was under treatment. And oneday he suddenly disappeared. The family searched for him, but did not find him.
The family thanked both Snehalaya and Shraddha centre for providing good care, treatment and reuniting Mathin.
