On September 9, 2024, the Snehalaya team rescued a mentally ill person named Mangesh, approximately 26 years old, from Mangalore Central Railway Station, based on information provided by the Railway Police. He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men.
