After her admission at Snehalaya she was provided with needed care and treatment for her psychiatric issues.

Along with the medication she was encouraged to engage in different social and therapeutic activities. Slowly she started to participate and her physical and psychological condition improved. After undergoing many counselling sessions, she shared   her personal details and about her family.  Our social workers tried to collect & relate the information and traced her family at Ambedkar Nagar, Kamptee village, Nagpur of Maharashtra.

After discussion with her niece Mrs. Neha and other members of the family Geetha was reunited with her family on 08/06/22. They were happy to see her after 9 years. Her niece told that Geetha is unmarried and had mental issues since past 10 years and was under treatment. Geetha’s niece and her husband accepted her as she had no family members of her own. They promised that they will take care of her. They offered thanks to Snehalaya Manjeshwar and Amla Bhawan for all their selfless service from rescuing Geetha till reuniting her with her family.

9 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಗೀತಾ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ  ಸೇರಿದರು.

ಸುಮಾರು 32 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಗೀತಾರನ್ನು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಶಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 20/05/22 ರಂದು ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಅಮಲ ಭವನದಿಂದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ನಂತರ, ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ  ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದರಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು. ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ನಾಗ್ಪುರದ ಕಂಪ್ಟಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.

ಆಕೆಯ ಸೊಸೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನೇಹಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಇತರ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಗೀತಾಳನ್ನು 08/06/22 ರಂದು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 9 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅವಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಗೀತಾ ಅವಿವಾಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಸೊಸೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗೀತಾಳ ಸೋದರ ಸೊಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಪತಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಗೀತಾಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮಲ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
