Along with the medication she was encouraged to participate in different sections of therapeutic activities and counselling sessions. Her condition improved and she started to respond. Based on the language she was speaking our social worker was able to confirm that she hails from Rajkot, Gujarat.

     On 05/05/22, she was taken to Shraddha Rehabilitation foundation at Mumbai for reunion process. On 27/05/22 she was taken   her native place and was reunited with her 6 children, 2 sons and 4 daughters. Her family was delighted to see her after 26 years.

Her family members shared that she had mental issues since many years and was under treatment. She went missing 26 years ago. They had searched for her everywhere but couldn’t find her.

They expressed their gratefulness towards Snehalaya, Manjeshwar and Shraddha rehabilitation foundation for their kind gesture and selfless service in the care, treatment and reunion of Rama.

26 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ರಮಾ   ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು.

21/10/21 ರಂದು 65 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ರಮಾ ರನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಪಿಂಕ್ ಪೋಲೀಸರು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಈಕೆಯು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಯಿಂದ  ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು . ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಕೆಗೆ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ರೋಗಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ BPAD ಎಂಬ ಮನೋರೋಗ ಇರುವುದು ಖಾತರಿ ಯಾಯಿತು.

    ಔಷಧಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಅವಧಿಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಳು. ಆಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕೆ ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ರಾಜ್‌ಕೋಟ್‌ ಮೂಲದವರು ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿದರು .

     05/05/22 ರಂದು, ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು. 27/05/22 ರಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ 6 (2 ಗಂಡು ಮತ್ತು 4 ಹೆಣ್ಣು) ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು . ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡುವ ಭರವಸೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು 26 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿ  ಸಂತಸಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಆಕೆಗೆ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು 26 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದುದಾಗಿ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಅವರು   ರಮಾ ನ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು  ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರು ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ  ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ  ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
