Nagesh Mahendra aged 45 was brought to Snehalaya on 11/03/22 by the public Mr. Faraz A. H. He was found wandering on the highway at Posattu Manjeshwar. At the time of admission, he had psychiatric symptoms and was with poor hygiene.
He was encouraged to participate in different sections of therapeutic activities along with the medication. Slowly his condition improved. Based on the information he shared with our social worker team members came to know that he hails from Karur District of Tamil Nadu.
On 05/05/22, He was taken to Shraddha Rehabilitation foundation Mumbai for further reunion process. Shraddha foundation made efforts to contact his family. On 12/06/22 he was taken to his native place and was reunited with his family. His father Mr Thangavel C. received him and was delighted to see him alive in good condition.
His father shared that Nagesh Mahendra had mental issues since one year and was under treatment. He has one sister. All of a sudden he went missing . They had searched for him everywhere but couldn’t find him.
As they received Nagesh Mahendra they were happy and assured that they will r take care of him and follow the medication.
They were v grateful towards Snehalaya, Manjeshwar and Shraddha Rehabilitation Centre for their kind gesture and selfless service in reuniting Nagesh Mahendra with his family.
ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿನ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿದರು.
45 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಎಂಬಾತನನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 11/03/22 ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಫರಾಜ್ ಎ ಹೆಚ್ ರವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು.ಪೊಸಟ್ಟು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ರೋಗಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು .
ಔಷಧಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿತು. ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಕರೂರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯವರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂತು .ದಿನಾಂಕ
05/05/22 ರಂದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿತು . ಇದರಂತೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 12/06/22 ರಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ತಂಗವೇಲ್ ಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.
ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಆತನು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆ ಹುಡುಕಾಡಿದರೂ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ನಾಗೇಶ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಅವರು ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರರ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರು ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
