Snehalaya assured the residents “”it is ok to be not ok.””

On the 10th of October 2022,  World Mental Health day was celebrated at Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre Manjeshwar.The Senior Counsellor Mr Basavaraj from Banglore was the guest of honour. Mrs Savitha Dsouza the Administrator of Snehalaya, Senior Psychiatric Social Worker Mr Clint Joseph, Nursing Staff Miss Binusha, Nusing Assistant Mr Arthar, Ward maintenance staff Mr Sanjay and the representative of Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Center for Men and Women joined their hands together to light the lamp as a symbol of hope and life.

    Senior Psychiatric Social Worker Mr Clint Joseph and Miss Bibina conducted an effective session on the theme of World Mental Health:” Let Us make Mental health a global priority”. All the residents were helped to understand the need of balancing the situations and mind control through various practical methodologies.

At the end of the session, residents shared their opinion and requested to have more sessions of a similar kind.

PSW Cheriachan compared the event, Thomas VJ welcomed the guests and Preeti offered a vote of thanks.
