Students of St. Aloysius College visited Snehalaya and organised Shramadhan as part of “Sahaya Project”.

As they were on their visit to Snehalaya as part of “Sahaya Project” Brother Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya along with staff welcomed the team and  detailed his 13-year journey after the institutional activity video presentation. 

The residents of Snehalaya and the students from St. Aloysius College cleaned the public road at Bachalike,Pavoor.The Main Road was covered in bushes, which made it extremely challenging for  vehicles and the public to travel. The students were then divided into seven groups and a cleaning drive was conducted. From Snehalaya to Gerukatte, the groups cleaned the roadside garbage, trash, and tree branches that had fallen into the roads.The students put in a huge amount of effort to clean the entire area.

In the afternoon session the students interacted with the residents.They were very excited to speak with and engage with the residents of Snehalaya . The Snehalaya family as a whole experienced joy while at the same time. The students and faculty members also shared their experiences with Snehalaya at the completion of the visit.  Dr.Renitta D Souza, Dr. Racheal, Mrs. Gopika, Dr. Anita, Ms. Philomina, Ms.Daya the Faculties from St. Aloysius College Accompanied the students during this one day Shramadhan and exposure visit. The staff members of Snehalaya assisted the students in this venture.
