At the time of admission, she had psychiatric symptoms like self-talking, self-smiling, stubbornness, and aggressive behavior. After her admission at Snehalaya Psycho–Social Rehabilitation Home for Women, treatment and medication were provided along with various therapeutic activities. Slowly her condition improved and she was capable of recollecting her past.

On 27.11.22 Sundari was reunited with her son at Panipat, Haryana, through Shraddha Foundation Mumbai. Sundari belongs to an economically backward family. She had a mental illness for 4 years and hence she went missing. Her family members were happy to see Sundari in improved condition. They felt happy and showed gratitude to both Psycho–Social Rehabilitation Home for Women, Manjeshwar, and Shraddha Foundation, for all their selfless efforts in caring for and reuniting Sundari with her family.

50 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸುಂದರಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹರಿಯಾಣದ ಪಾಣಿಪತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿದರು.

ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೋಂದೆಲ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಬಳಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 50 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸುಂದರಿ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 3.8.2022 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ, ನಗುವ, ಹಠಮಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯಂತಹ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಳು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸೈಕೋ – ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ರಿಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲಿಟೇಶನ್ ‘ಹೋಮ್ ಫಾರ್ ವುಮೆನ್‌’ ಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾದ ನಂತರ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಔಷಧಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ  ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಅವಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಳು.

27.11.22 ರಂದು ಸುಂದರಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹರಿಯಾಣದ ಪಾಣಿಪತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾದರು. ಸುಂದರಿ ಅವರದು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಕುಟುಂಬ. ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆಕೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು. ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸುಂದರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತಸಪಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂದರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸೈಕೋ – ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ರಿಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲಿಟೇಶನ್ ಹೋಮ್ ಫಾರ್ ವುಮೆನ್ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
