A destitute named Balvinder Singh aged 66 years who was wandering on the streets of Udupi was rescued by a social worker Mr Nithyananda Volakadu who admitted him to Snehalaya with the help of Mr Roshan senior citizen counsellor.
During the time of admission, the patient was suffering from Psychiatric problems, and after participating in all our activities and counseling sessions he started to share about his whereabouts, and for further reunion process he was shifted to Shraddha Mumbai.
On 7/03/2023 he was reunited with his wife in Punjab. She felt very happy after seeing him and according to her He was missing for the past 2 years, He had Psychiatric problems for many years and was under treatment. He was working as a driver, he has 2 children.
The team handed over 2 months of medicine and a treatment plan. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude toward both Snehalaya and Shraddha Centres for their selfless service.
ಪಂಜಾಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲ್ವಿಂದರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ರವರ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ
ಉಡುಪಿಯ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಬಲ್ವಿಂದರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತನನ್ನು, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿತ್ಯಾನಂದ ಒಳಕಾಡುರವರು ರಕ್ಶಿಸಿ, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೊಚಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೋಶನ್ ಅವರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗು ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು. ಹಾಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 07/03/2023 ರಂದು ಪಂಜಾಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು.ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬಲ್ವಿಂದರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ತುಂಬಾ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು, ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತಿದ್ದರು, ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅವರು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲ್ವಿಂದರ್ ಚಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ತಂಡವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಕ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
