On 12/09/2023 Mr. Stephan Monteiro and the dedicated team of Snehalaya under the guidence of Bro Joseph crasta rescued a person named Chennu, aged approximately 38 years old, who was found in a disoriented state on the streets near BC Road of Dakshina Kannada district.
Chennu had been wandering near BC Road bus stand for the past 15 days, causing concerns among the local public due to his erratic behavior, which included self-talking and self-smiling tendencies. He speaks Kannada language and claims to hail from Chamarajnagara in Karnataka, though further details about his identity and background remain unknown.
Upon his rescue, Chennu has been promptly admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Men, where he is receiving exceptional care and treatment to aid in his rehabilitation and potential reunion with his family.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 12/09/2023 ರಂದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಿ.ಸಿ ರೋಡ್ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಬಳಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಚೆನ್ನು ಎಂಬ 38 ವರ್ಷದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊರವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡದ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
