On August 9, 2023, a destitute individual named Madhur, approximately 58 years old, was rescued by Mr. Vishu Shetty Ambalpady from the streets of Hebri. He was subsequently admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men by the Hebri police. The patient exhibited signs of mental illness, including self-talk behavior and a lack of personal hygiene.
After receiving comprehensive care and treatment at Snehalaya, and through the dedicated efforts of our social workers, Madhur began to disclose information about his background. To facilitate the reunion process, he was subsequently transferred to Shraddha Mumbai.
On October 17, 2023, Madhur was successfully reunited with his family in the Parbhani District of Maharashtra. His family and the local community expressed joy and relief at his return. According to his mother’s statement, Madhur had been suffering from mental illness but had been unable to receive treatment due to financial constraints.
The family extended their heartfelt gratitude to both Snehalaya and Shraddha Centres for their selfless service and instrumental role in the reunion process
ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 9,2023 ರಂದು, ಸುಮಾರು 58 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಧುರ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಷು ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅಂಬಲಪಾಡಿ ಅವರು ಹೆಬ್ರಿಯ ಬೀದಿಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೆಬ್ರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೆಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಯು ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ, ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ, ಮಧುರ್ ತನ್ನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು, ಅವರನ್ನು ತರುವಾಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಮುಂಬೈಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 17,2023 ರಂದು, ಮಧುರ್ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಪರ್ಭಾನಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಮರಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿತು. ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಮಧುರ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಆದರೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳೆರಡಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
