ದಿನಾಂಕ 09.01.2024ರಂದು ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಕ್ಕುತೋಚದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಬಿಕಾಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾದ ಹಿದಾಯತುಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡಿಗರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
