ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 23,2023 ರಂದು, ಬೋರ್ಶತ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೋಂದೆಲ್ ಸಮೀಪದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳಕಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಮಧ್ಯಪಾನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದನು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 29.02.2024ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಪಚಿಮ್ ಬರ್ಧಮಾನ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಸುಮಾರು ಆರು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತನ ನಿಜ ಹೆಸರು ರಾಬಿನ್ ರೂಯಿಡಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ ಕಳೆದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳುತಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಿಸಿದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದ.
ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ವಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
