On April 12, 2024, the Snehalaya team, under the leadership of Mrs. Josliya Crasta, the trustee of Snehalaya, rescued three destitutes from Mangalore. The team rescued Kammu (45), a lady suffering from mental illness who was wandering near Mangalore Junction Railway Station; Shreeya (50), a lady who was on the footpath near State Bank Mangalore, also suffering from mental illness; and Santhosh Kumar Saked (48), a mentally ill person who was attacking the public and was rescued from Mangalore Bunder Police Station, as per the information given by Mr. Rakesh, the floor manager of Jose Allukkas Mangalore. All three of them are admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men and Women.All of them speak Hindi, and their whereabouts are still unknown. ದಿನಾಂಕ 12.04.2024ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೋಸ್ಲಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ನೇತ್ರತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು  ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಕಮ್ಮು ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 45 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಬಳಿ ಫುಟ್ ಪಾತ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಯಾ ಎಂಬ 50 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜೋಸ್ ಅಲುಕ್ಕಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಫ್ಲೋರ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಆದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬಂದರ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಕ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸಾಕೇದ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
