On January 28, 2024, Dileep, who was under treatment at Krupa Bhavan Kannur, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men for better care and treatment and for his eventual reunion with his family. After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, his condition improved, and he was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai for further reunification efforts.
On June 4, 2024, he was reunited with his family in Dharashiv district of Maharashtra. His mother, who was overjoyed to see him after thirty years of separation, received him. According to his family, Dileep left home after having a fight with his brother at the age of 15. The family and villagers were very happy about the reunion and expressed their gratitude towards the Snehalaya and Shraddha centres for their selfless efforts.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 28.01.2024ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಕೃಪಾ ಭವನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ದಿಲೀಪ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 04.06.2024ರಂದು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಧಾರಶಿವ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ದಿಲೀಪ್ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ತಾಯಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ದಿಲೀಪ್ ಸಹೋದರ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತ 15ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಜೊತೆ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ಮನೆಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು.ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
