On March 24, 2024, a destitute man named Raj was rescued from the streets of Montepadavu and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men for further care and treatment. This was done by the Snehalaya team under the guidance of Bro Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. After receiving essential care and treatment at Snehalaya, Raj’s condition improved, and through the hard work of both the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams, his address was traced.
On June 4, 2024, Raj was successfully reunited with his family in Solapur, Maharashtra. He had been missing for two years. According to his family, he had been suffering from mental illness for the past fifteen years, and his real name is Sayad. The family expressed their gratitude towards both Snehalaya and Shraddha teams for their selfless service to mankind.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 24.03.2024ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೋಂಟೆಪದವು ಬಳಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ರಾಜ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಅನ್ಸಾರ್ ಅಚ್ಚು ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 04/06/2024ರಂದು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸೋಲಾಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು.2ವರ್ಷ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತನ ನಿಜ ಹೆಸರು ಸಯ್ಯದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
