On June 26, 2024, Ravi Kumar, a 50-year-old mentally ill person Wandering in the streets of Manjanady, was successfully rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation centre for Men. This compassionate effort was led by the Snehalaya team Under the able guidance of Br Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. During the time of admission Ravi Kumar was found with poor hygiene and shabby clothes. He communicates in Hindi, claims to be from Bihar, and identifies his parents as Lalipunith and Shubha. Currently, he is receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya. ದಿನಾಂಕ 26/06/24 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಂಜನಾಡಿ ಬಳಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 50ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ರವಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ
ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಂತೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ,ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪುರುಷರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
