On March 28, 2024, a person named Romeo, who was wandering the streets of Nellyadi, was rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Men by the Snehalaya team. After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, Romeo’s condition improved, and he was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai for further reunification efforts. On June 12, 2024, Romeo was reunited with his family in the Kolkata district of West Bengal. His family was happy to see him after five years of separation. According to his family, Romeo had been working as a manager in a five-star hotel, and due to family problems, he had developed a mental illness. The family expressed their gratitude towards the Snehalaya and Shraddha centres for their selfless efforts in facilitating the reunion.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 28.03.2024 ರಂದು ನೆಲ್ಯಾಡಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ರೋಮಿಯೋ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಿನಾಂಕ 12.06.2024ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಐದು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ರೋಮಿಯೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರೋಮಿಯೋ ಪಂಚತಾರ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದನು.ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
