On June 29, 2024, Rajendra, a 30-year-old mentally ill person, was rescued from the streets of Montepadavu and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men. This compassionate effort was led by the Snehalaya team, according to information provided by Nasir Montepadavu, a well-wisher of Snehalaya. At the time of admission, Rajendra was found with poor hygiene and wearing shabby clothes. He communicates in Hindi and claims to be from Maharashtra. ದಿನಾಂಕ 29/06/24 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೋಂಟೆಪದವು ಬೀದಿ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 30ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಹಿತೈಷಿಯಾದ ನಾಸಿರ್ ಮೋಂಟೆಪದವು ಅವರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ,ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪುರುಷರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
