On June 29, 2024, Satish, a 30-year-old mentally ill person, was rescued from the streets of Vamanjoor and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men. This compassionate effort was led by Vananjoor police. At the time of admission, Satish was found with poor hygiene and wearing shabby clothes. He communicates in Kannada,tulu and claims to be from Nelliigudde mangalore. Currently, he is receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya. ದಿನಾಂಕ 29/06/24 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಾಮಂಜೂರಿನ ಬೀದಿ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 30ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸತೀಶ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು, ವಾಮಂಜೂರು ಪೋಲಿಸರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ,ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪುರುಷರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
