On July 7, 2024, Mohan, a 65-year-old mentally ill person, was rescued from Kumbla railway station and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men. This compassionate effort was led by the Snehalaya team, according to information provided by Kumbla Police. At the time of admission, Mohan was physically weak, found with poor hygiene, and wearing shabby clothes. He communicates in Malayalam and claims to be from Punyam, Kerala. ದಿನಾಂಕ 07/07/24 ರಂದು ಕುಂಬಳೆ ರೈಲ್ವೇ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 65ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಮೊಹನ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು, ಕುಂಬಳೆ ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ,ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪುರುಷರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
