ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ: ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲು
ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 31, 2026: ಬಿಹಾರದ ಪಾಟ್ನಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಆಜಂಪುರ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿಯ MHI ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್‌ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಇಬ್ರಾಹಿಂ ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರು ಅವರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಭಾಸ್ ಅವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು. 2026ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 30ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 4:30ಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಾದಾಗ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ತಮ್ಮಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು, ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಆರೈಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಬೀದಿಯಿಂದ ಕರೆತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಸತಿ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕ ಆಹಾರ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮುಂದಿನ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

Manjeshwar, October 31, 2026: Mr. Amit Singh, originally from Azampur in Patna district, Bihar, was found in a helpless condition in the Gangolli area of Udupi district. He was rescued and admitted to Snehalaya, a psychosocial rehabilitation center in Manjeshwar. Mr. Ibrahim Gangolli from the Gangolli MHI Ambulance brought the situation to Snehalaya’s attention. Mr. Subhash, a member of the public, assisted in safely bringing Amit Singh to the center. He was admitted to Snehalaya at 4:30 PM on October 30, 2026.
Upon admission, Mr. Amit Singh was found to lack personal hygiene, spoke only to himself, exhibited aggressive behavior, and displayed signs of incoherent speech. Noting his condition, he requires appropriate medical assessment, necessary treatment, and continuous professional care.
He was brought from the streets of Gangolli in Udupi. At Snehalaya, he is now being provided with safe accommodation, personal care, nutritious food, medical assistance, and psychosocial support. Further medical assessment and treatment will be given considering his health condition.
Under the leadership of Snehalaya’s founder, Brother Joseph Crasta, the organization continues its mission to rescue, shelter, and dignify the lives of the homeless, helpless, abandoned, and distressed. The main objective of the institution is to facilitate recovery through proper medical and psychosocial care, help reunite rescued persons with their families if possible, and assist them in reintegrating into mainstream society.
