ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 01, 2026: ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಭು ಕಾಳೆ, ಅವರ ಮೂಲ ಹೆಸರು ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕಾಳೆ, ಅವರು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಜಲ್ನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 28, 2026ರಂದು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಈ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕಳೆದ ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರನ್ನು 21 ಮೇ 2026ರಂದು ಲಭ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪಡುಬಿದ್ರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕಾಳೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರೈಕೆಗಾಗಿ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕಾಳೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವ ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ 03 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2026ರಂದು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಭು ಹಿಂದೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮನೆ ಈಗ ಬೇರೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರಂತರ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರ ಪತ್ತೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಸಹೋದರ (ಮಾಮ) ಮತ್ತು ಅಜ್ಜಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಮಾವ ಕೂಡ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರ ಇದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮರಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತಕ್ಕೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಬಾಳ್ ಎಂಬ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಜನಪದ ತಾಳವಾದ್ಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಇದೇ ವಾದ್ಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳುವಿಕೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅವರು ಬೆಳೆದ ಊರಿನ ಹಳೆಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.

ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ದೃಶ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟ ಅವರು, ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೃತ ಮಾವನ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಬಳಿಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ನಡುವೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಈ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭಾವುಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರಭು ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಸಂತಸ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೋಷದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಎಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಔಷಧೋಪಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಜಲ್ನಾವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಬಡ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ, ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Praveen Kale Reunited with His Family in Maharashtra After Three Years

Manjeshwar, October 01, 2026: After nearly three years of separation from his family, Mr. Prabhu Kale, whose original name is Praveen Kale, was successfully reunited with his mother and brothers in Jalna, Maharashtra, on September 28, 2026. The emotional reunion was made possible through the continued care, rehabilitation and family-tracing efforts initiated following his referral to Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Kasaragod, Manjeshwar, and in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

Prabhu had been missing from his family for nearly three years. He had been experiencing mental health difficulties for around two years and, during this period, lived away from home, stayed with friends and wandered through different places. Over time, he lost contact with his family.

On May 21, 2026, Mr. Kiran Kumar from Karkala found Praveen Kale wandering in a vulnerable condition along Padubidri Road. Concerned about his well-being, Kiran Kumar came forward to help him and transported him in his own vehicle for further care and rehabilitation.

Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Praveen received medical treatment, counselling, personal care, psychosocial support and comprehensive rehabilitation at Snehalaya. Continuous efforts were also made to trace his family and establish his identity and background.

For further care and rehabilitation, he was admitted to Shraddha Foundation on September 3, 2026. Although the house where Prabhu had previously lived was no longer owned by his family and had changed ownership, persistent efforts to trace his relatives eventually helped identify his family and establish contact with them.

Prabhu had spent much of his childhood with his maternal uncle and grandmother. His maternal uncle lived nearby and had also cared for him during his school years. Prabhu has a mother and brothers who had been waiting for his return for several years.

Music also held a special place in Prabhu’s life. He used to play the traditional folk percussion instrument Sambal at a local temple, and his brothers also play the same instrument. His return therefore brought back not only a beloved family member but also memories of the years he spent in his native community.

The reunion at his home was deeply emotional. After entering his house following several years away, Prabhu saw a photograph of his late maternal uncle adorned with a garland. The sight moved him deeply, and the moment became an emotional experience for both Prabhu and his family members.

The family and villagers expressed happiness and relief at seeing Prabhu return home safely after such a long separation. His family reported a noticeable improvement in his condition following the period of care and rehabilitation.

His mother and brothers will take responsibility for his continued care. The family has been advised to continue his prescribed medication and follow-up treatment, with the Government Hospital, Jalna, identified for further medical care. Although the family faces financial difficulties, they have expressed their willingness to continue supporting Prabhu and ensuring his well-being.
