ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ: ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಏಕತೆ, ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮ, ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಸುಂದರ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿತು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಾಯುಪಡೆಯ ಸಾರ್ಜೆಂಟ್ ರೇಮಂಡ್ ಎ. ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾ. ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಆಗಮನವು ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆರುಗು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ದೇಶಸೇವೆ, ಕರ್ತವ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠೆ, ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರುಕಳಿಸಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋವಿಯಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸರಿತಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೆರುಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ರೆ. ಫಾ. ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಗಾಯನ ತಂಡವು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಮಧುರ ಸ್ವರಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲವಿಟ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಿರೂಪಕರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು

ಇಂದಿನ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯು ಕೇವಲ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ, ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸಂದರ್ಭವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ, ಸಮಾನತೆ, ಏಕತೆ, ಸಹೋದರತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರುಣೆಯಂತಹ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಚೈತನ್ಯ ನೀಡಿತು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಲಿಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಅವರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಗಾಯನ ತಂಡ, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಭಾವನೆ, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಈ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸೇವಾ ಪಯಣದಂತೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ “ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕು, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ” ಎಂಬ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ದೇಶದ ಏಕತೆ, ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour

Manjeshwar, August 15, 2026: Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and joy on August 15. Residents, staff members, trustees, members of the management, well-wishers and members of the community came together for the celebration, which conveyed a meaningful message of unity, patriotism, peaceful coexistence and humanity.

Sergeant Raymond A. D’Souza of the Indian Air Force and Snehalaya Chaplain Rev. Fr. Cyril D’Souza graced the occasion as the chief guests. Their esteemed presence added special significance to the celebration and reminded everyone of the values of national service, discipline, sacrifice, dedication and commitment to duty.

The programme was attended by Snehalaya Executive Director Mr. Joseph Crasta, trustees Mr. Jovial Crasta, Ms. Sarita Crasta and Mr. Prakash Pinto. Staff members, well-wishers and members of the local community also participated in large numbers, adding colour and spirit to the occasion.

Snehalaya Administrator Mrs. Veena D’Souza warmly welcomed the chief guests and all those gathered for the celebration. Under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Cyril D’Souza, the Snehalaya choir presented melodious patriotic songs that filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of national pride and devotion.

Mrs. Lavita D’Souza, who oversees various institutional and programme-related activities at Snehalaya, served as the master of ceremonies and conducted the programme in a well-organised and graceful manner.

The Independence Day celebration was not merely an occasion of festivity, but also a solemn opportunity to remember and honour the countless freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the nation. The programme inspired everyone to renew their commitment to the ideals of freedom, equality, unity, fraternity, compassion and service to humanity.

The celebration also served as a reminder that true independence carries with it a responsibility to uphold peace, harmony, dignity and social justice, while contributing meaningfully to the progress and well-being of the country.

Mr. Clint Joseph, Head of the Clinical Department at Snehalaya, proposed the vote of thanks. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the chief guests, members of the management, trustees, staff, choir members, well-wishers and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the programme.

With an atmosphere filled with patriotism, happiness and the spirit of togetherness, Snehalaya’s 80th Independence Day celebration concluded successfully. In harmony with Snehalaya’s continuing journey of service to humanity, the occasion strengthened in every heart the inspiring message:

“Our Nation, Our Pride, Our Service, Our Rights and Our Duty.”

The celebration encouraged everyone to recognise their responsibility towards the nation and reaffirmed the commitment to serve selflessly for the unity, peace, harmony and progress of India.
