ಪಡುಬಿದ್ರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 02, 2026: ಮೂಲ ಊರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಅವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪಡುಬಿದ್ರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಲಭ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪಡುಬಿದ್ರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೆಪಿಟಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್‌ಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 01, 2026ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.

ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಬೀಡಿ ಸೇವನೆಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ, ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Man Rescued from Padubidri Road, Admitted to Snehalaya for Care and Rehabilitation

Manjeshwar, August 02, 2026: Mr. Arjun, whose native place is yet to be identified, was rescued after he was found wandering in a vulnerable condition on Padubidri Road, Mangalore. He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for treatment, care, and rehabilitation.

According to available information, Mr. Kiran Kumar of Karkala noticed Mr. Arjun wandering helplessly on Padubidri Road and, out of humanitarian concern, rescued him. He later transported Mr. Arjun in his own vehicle to KPT Circle, Mangalore, where he safely handed him over to the Snehalaya rescue team. The team then shifted him to the rehabilitation centre, where he was admitted on August 01, 2026.

At the time of admission, Mr. Arjun was found to have poor personal hygiene, beedi dependence, wandering behaviour, irrelevant speech, and self-muttering. Considering his physical and mental condition, the centre immediately initiated comprehensive medical assessment, treatment, personal care, and professional rehabilitation services.

Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta, Mr. Arjun is currently receiving medical treatment, counselling, personal care, psychosocial support, and comprehensive rehabilitation services. Efforts are also underway to trace his native place and reunite him with his family.

Snehalaya expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Kiran Kumar for his timely intervention, compassion, and humanitarian effort in rescuing Mr. Arjun and ensuring his safe transfer to the Snehalaya team.
