ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜುಲೈ 13, 2026: ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ತೆಂಕಾಶಿ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಘೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಘೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಗೊಂದಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದವು. ಅವರ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ತೀರಾ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತವಾದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಮಘೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಜುಲೈ 12, 2026ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಅವಲೋಕನದ ವೇಳೆ ಮಘೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗುವ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಭ್ರಮಾತ್ಮಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವರ್ತನೆಯಂತಹ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ. ಅವರ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ನಿರಂತರ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಔಷಧೋಪಚಾರ, ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೀನ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ.

Tamil Nadu Man Found Mentally Distressed on Manjeshwar Street Given Shelter at Snehalaya

Manjeshwar, July 13, 2026: Mr. Maghesh Kumar, a native of Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, was rescued after being found wandering in a mentally distressed and helpless condition on the streets of Manjeshwar. He has been admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for treatment, care, and rehabilitation.

Mr. Maghesh Kumar was found wandering aimlessly on the streets of Manjeshwar, displaying signs of severe mental confusion and vulnerability. His personal hygiene was extremely poor, and he was unable to clearly explain his circumstances. After noticing that he was wandering in a public place without protection or care, Br. Joseph Crasta, Executive Director of Snehalaya, immediately alerted the Snehalaya rescue team.

Upon receiving the information, the Snehalaya team promptly reached the location and rescued Mr. Maghesh Kumar with compassion and due regard for his safety. He was then brought to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre and admitted on July 12, 2026, for necessary care, treatment, and rehabilitation.

During the preliminary assessment, Mr. Maghesh Kumar exhibited symptoms including poor personal hygiene, persistent wandering behaviour, rapidly shifting thoughts, and behaviour suggestive of hallucinatory experiences. Considering his physical and psychological condition, he requires continuous psychiatric treatment, medication, counselling, personal care, supervision, and long-term rehabilitation support.

Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, the medical and rehabilitation team at Snehalaya has initiated the necessary treatment and therapeutic interventions. He is currently receiving dedicated care and supervision aimed at improving his health, restoring his mental stability, and rebuilding his confidence.
