ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜುಲೈ 2, 2026: ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಕೊಯಮತ್ತೂರು ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ನೌಫಲ್ ರಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬಂದರಿನ ಬಳಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಶ್ರೀ ನೌಫಲ್ ರಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬಂದರಿನ ಸಮೀಪ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು. ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಬೆನ್ನಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರಕಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ನೌಫಲ್ ರಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ನೌಫಲ್ ರಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 2, 2026 ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಸ್ವತಃ ನಗುವುದು, ಶ್ರವಣ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆಗಳಂತಹ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ.

ಇದೀಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಚೇತರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಗಲು-ರಾತ್ರಿ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದೆ.

Mentally Distressed Man Found at Mangalore Port Admitted to Snehalaya

Manjeshwar, July 2, 2026: Mr. Noufal Rahman, a native of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a mentally distressed condition near Mangalore Port.

According to sources, Mr. Noufal Rahman was found wandering in a disturbed and confused state near Mangalore Port. The matter was brought to the attention of Snehalaya by social worker Mr. Albert Bennis. Upon receiving the information, the Snehalaya team, under the leadership of Founder Br. Joseph Crasta, immediately reached the location, rescued Mr. Noufal Rahman, and safely brought him to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for care and protection.

Mr. Noufal Rahman was admitted on July 2, 2026. During the initial assessment, he was found to be showing symptoms such as self-talk, self-smile, auditory hallucinations, and aggressive behaviour. He requires continuous psychiatric treatment, counselling, supervision, and rehabilitation support.

Under the guidance of Snehalaya team has initiated the necessary treatment and rehabilitation measures and is continuing round-the-clock care for his recovery.
