ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಲಾಲೋ ಮಹಾಲಿ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ
ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜೂನ್ 25, 2026: ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಜಲ್ಪೈಗುರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನೀಓರಾ, ಬನಾ ಬಸ್ತಿ ಕುಮ್ಲೈ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಾಲೋ ಮಹಾಲಿ ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಜೂನ್ 16, 2026 ರಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ, ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 23, 2026 ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಸಿಲಿಗುಡಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ನವೂರು ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಾಲೋ ಮಹಾಲಿ ಅವರು ದೇರಳಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೊಂಟೆಪಾಡಾವು ಬೀದಿ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನ್ಸಾರ್ ಮೊಂಟೆಪಾಡಾವು ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಬ್ರದರ್. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಾಲೋ ಮಹಾಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ನಂತರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಸ್ವಭಾವ, ಸ್ವತಃ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಗಳಂತಹ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ತಂಡವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೈಕೆಯ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.
ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಲಾಲೋ ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಹಿಂದೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ವಿವಾಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗ ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 20 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅವರು ಪತಿಯ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಂದೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಹುಡುಕುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ರಿಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲಿಟೇಶನ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿತು. ಅದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸಿ, ಜೂನ್ 16, 2026 ರಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಾಯಿ, ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಲಾಲೋ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ, ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಬ್ರದರ್. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಮುಂಬೈ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

On April 23, 2026, Mrs. Lalo Mahali was found in a helpless and distressing condition on the roadside at Montepadavu, Deralakatte. Noticing her condition, Mr. Ansar Montepadavu immediately informed Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya.
Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team promptly reached the spot and rescued Mrs. Lalo Mahali safely. She was later admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for further treatment, care, and rehabilitation.
At the time of admission, she was found with poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, self-talking, and irrelevant speech. The dedicated team of Snehalaya provided her with medical care, counselling, psychological support, and rehabilitation in a safe and caring environment.
According to her family, Mrs. Lalo had been suffering from mental illness for nearly 30 years and had received treatment earlier. She is married and has one son and two daughters. Around 20 years ago, she left her husband’s home and stayed with her father. Later, she left home in search of work and went missing.
With the support of Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, the Snehalaya team made continuous efforts to trace her family. Their efforts led to successful contact with her family in West Bengal, and on June 16, 2026, Mrs. Lalo Mahali was joyfully reunited with her mother and three children.
Her family members and villagers expressed immense happiness and extended heartfelt gratitude to Brother Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team, and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, for making this reunion possible.
