ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜೂನ್ 24, 2026: ಮಣಿಪುರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಇಂಫಾಲ್ನ ಖೈರನ್ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಭಿತ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆಯ ನಾಂಗಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ, ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಉಪನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀಶ್ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಭಿತ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ 24, 2026 ರಂದು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಅಭಿತ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಮದ್ಯ ಅವಲಂಬನೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ, ತಂಬಾಕು ಅವಲಂಬನೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ, ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಸೇವನೆ, ಆತಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಯ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಂತಹ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಗಂಭೀರತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಸಹಾಯ ದೊರಕುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Abhit Khan Rescued by Kumble Police, Admitted to Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, June 24, 2026: Mr. Abhit Khan, a native of Khyran, Imphal, Manipur, was rescued by Kumble Police while he was found wandering in a vulnerable condition at Naangi, Kumble. He was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for treatment and rehabilitation.
After receiving information, Mr. Sudheesh, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Kumble Police Station, safely brought Mr. Abhit Khan to Snehalaya on June 24, 2026, and completed the admission process.
At the time of admission, Mr. Abhit Khan was observed with wandering behaviour, alcohol dependence, tobacco dependence, drug use, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Considering the seriousness of his condition, the police took timely action to ensure that he received safe care and professional support.
Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta, Mr. Abhit Khan is currently receiving medical treatment, counselling, personal care, and rehabilitation services.
