25 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಭಾವುಕ ಕ್ಷಣ
ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜೂನ್ 21, 2026: ಸುಮಾರು 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ , ಅಕ್ಬರನ್ ಸಾಬ್ ಎಂದೂ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕುಶಿನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ರಾಮ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಾಮದವರಾದ ಅಕ್ಬರ್, 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ನಂತರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಬಹಳ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸುಳಿವು ಸಿಗದೆ, ಅವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2026ರ ಮೇ 2ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿತು.
ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ತಕ್ಷಣದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ, ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿತ್ತು. ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಆರೈಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
2026ರ ಜೂನ್ 12ರಂದು ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅವರು ಮೊದಲು ತುಂಬಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸ್ವಭಾವದವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮನೆಯ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿವಾಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬ ತಿಳಿಸಿತು.
25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಕ್ಷಣ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೂ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ತಂದಿತು. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಭಾವುಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಯಿತು.

After 25 Years, Akbar Reunited with Mother and Sister Through Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, June 21, 2026: Mr. Akbar, also identified as Mr. Akbaran Saab, a native of Ramla village, Kushinagar district, Jharkhand, was successfully reunited with his mother and sister after being missing for nearly 25 years through the efforts of Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre.
Akbar had gone to Rajasthan for work 25 years ago and never returned home. His family searched for him for a long time but could not trace him and eventually believed that he might have died. No missing complaint had been lodged.
He was admitted to Snehalaya on May 2, 2026, after being found in a distressed condition on Manjeshwar Street. Mr. Badhruddhin, an auto driver from Manjeshwar, noticed his vulnerable condition and informed Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta. Responding promptly, the Snehalaya team rescued him and safely shifted him to the centre for treatment, care, and rehabilitation.
At the time of admission, Akbar was found to have psychiatric concerns and required immediate medical attention, supervision, counselling, and holistic rehabilitation support. Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta and the Snehalaya team, he received proper care and gradually improved.
On June 12, 2026, Akbar was reunited with his mother and sister. The family members shared that he had earlier been very good-natured and used to take care of household work. He was also married, but his wife had left the house. His return after 25 long years brought immense joy to his family and the villagers, making the reunion deeply emotional and memorable.
