ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ್ ತುರಿ ಅವರು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂಬಳೆ ಅರಿಕಾಡಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಅಲೆದಾಟದ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಶ್ರವಣ ಭ್ರಮೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಜಯ್ ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಅವರು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ್ ತುರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಜೂನ್ 5, 2026 ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ದೀಪಕ್ ತುರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Snehalaya Admits Distressed Man from Jharkhand for Rehabilitation Care
Manjeshwar, June 8, 2026: Continuing its mission of providing shelter, care, and rehabilitation to destitute individuals suffering from mental health challenges, Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre has admitted Mr. Deepak Turi, a native of Bokaro, Jharkhand.
According to information received by Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta, Mr. Deepak Turi was found wandering in the Arikady area of Kumbla, Kasaragod District. He was observed exhibiting poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, auditory hallucinations, and aggressive tendencies, indicating an urgent need for care and rehabilitation.
Responding with compassion and concern, Mr. Ajay K.V., ASI of Kumbla Police Station, took the necessary steps to ensure the individual’s safety and facilitated his admission to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre.
Mr. Deepak Turi was officially admitted to the centre on June 5, 2026, where he is currently receiving medical treatment, personal care, counselling, and comprehensive psycho-social rehabilitation services.
Under the guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya continues its dedicated efforts to rescue and rehabilitate wandering, destitute, and mentally distressed individuals, offering them a safe environment, dignified care, and an opportunity for reintegration into society.
