ಎರ್ನಾಕುಳಂ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗೀತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗೀತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ 3, 2026 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ವೇಳೆ, ಅವರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತು, ಅತಿಯಾದ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಜ್ಞರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Snehalaya Admits Mentally Distressed Woman Found at Mangalore Central Railway Station

Manjeshwar, June 6, 2026: A woman identified as Ms. Geetha, a native of Ernakulam, Kerala, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a mentally distressed condition at Mangalore Central Railway Station.

According to sources, Ms. Geetha was found in a distressed and vulnerable condition at Mangalore Central Railway Station. Upon receiving information about her situation, Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta personally led the rescue efforts and ensured her safe transfer to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre. She was subsequently admitted to the centre for immediate care, treatment, protection, and psychosocial rehabilitation support.

Ms. Geetha was admitted to the centre on June 3, 2026. During the preliminary assessment, she was found to be experiencing poor personal hygiene, aggressive behaviour, irrelevant talk, increased speech, and elevated energy levels, indicating the need for continuous psychiatric care, supervision, counselling, and rehabilitation support.

Under the guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team has initiated necessary treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation measures to support her recovery and well-being. Compassionate care and regular monitoring are being provided as part of the ongoing intervention process.
