ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಅವರು ವಾರಾಣಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಅವರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಲ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ತಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ನೋವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 25, 2026ರಂದು ಮುಲ್ಕಿ ಸ್ಟ್ರೀಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಆರೈಕೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.

Family Reunion Restores a Broken Family: Snehalaya Reunites Uttar Pradesh Man with Loved Ones After Months of Pain

Manjeshwar, May 26, 2026: In an emotional reunion, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, with the support of Shraddha Foundation Mumbai, successfully reunited Mr. Sandeep Maurya, a native of Jaunpur District, Uttar Pradesh, with his cousin brother and uncle’s family after five months of separation.

Mr. Sandeep had been suffering from mental illness for the past eight years and was undergoing treatment at Banaras Government Hospital. According to family members, his condition worsened following the death of his mother, while his father had already passed away a few years ago. His brother, who is also mentally ill, remains missing.

He was admitted to Snehalaya on March 25, 2026, after being found wandering at Mulki Street in a mentally distressed condition. The matter was informed by Mr. Kiran Kumar, following which the Snehalaya team rescued and admitted him for treatment and rehabilitation care.

With continuous care and dedicated efforts under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta, along with the support of Shraddha Foundation Mumbai, his family was successfully traced. On May 25, 2026, Mr. Sandeep was safely reunited with his relatives at their native place in Uttar Pradesh. The family emotionally thanked Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation Mumbai for bringing their loved one back home safely.
