ತುಮಿನಾಡು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುತ್ತಣ್ಣ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅವರನ್ನು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26, 2026 ರಂದು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಅಲೆದಾಟದ ವರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೌನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ನಿರಂತರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಗಮನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Admits Man Found in Distress at Thuminad, Manjeshwar
Manjeshwar, April 28, 2026: A man identified as Mr. Puttanna was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a distressed condition at Thuminad Street in Manjeshwar.
According to sources, the situation came to light when Mr. Rafeeq, an auto driver from Thuminad, alerted Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta about the man’s condition. Acting on the information, the Snehalaya team reached the spot and shifted him safely to the centre.
He was admitted on April 26, 2026, for treatment and care. At the time of admission, he exhibited symptoms such as poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, and mutism, indicating the need for sustained medical attention and supervision.
The Snehalaya team has initiated appropriate medical treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation measures to support his recovery. Continuous monitoring and psychosocial care are being provided as part of the intervention.
