ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಹಾರದ ಯುವಕ ತನ್ನಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 28, 2026: ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳ ದೂರವಾಸದ ನಂತರ, ಬಿಹಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಧುಬನಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಝಂಜರ್ಪುರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ, ಕಾಕೋ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಡಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ, ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತಸದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಾವುಕರಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದರು. ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರೂ ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾಡಿ ಅವರು ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾಣೆಯಾದ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಳೆದ 2 ವರ್ಷ 6 ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿದ್ದು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಅವರು ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಂಜಾ ವ್ಯಸನದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟು, ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು.

21-12-2025 ರಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರೋಷನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ, ತೊಕ್ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಬಳಿ ಕಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ತಂಡವು ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು. ಅವರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಮಾತು, ಶ್ರವಣ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.

ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ನಂತರ, 10-02-2026 ರಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಿಯಮಿತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧಿ ಸೇವನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

From Eight Months of Silence to a Joyful Homecoming: Kaadi Reunited with His Family

Manjeshwar, February 28, 2026: After eight long months of separation, Mr. Kaadi, a native of Village Kako PS Jhanjharpur, District Madhubani, Bihar, was emotionally reunited with his mother, brother, and sister . The family’s response was excellent, and villagers and neighbours also expressed great happiness and appreciation.

Kaadi had been missing for eight months, and though no missing complaint was lodged, his family had searched for him in vain. He has a past history of mental illness for 2 years and 6 months and was under treatment. Before the onset of illness, he worked as a construction labourer. Due to Weed addiction, he gradually lost mental balance and, under the influence of mental illness, left home.

On 21-12-2025, based on information from a public person, Mr. Roshan D’Souza, he was rescued near Thokottu Bus Stand by the team of Snehalaya Charitable Trust under the compassionate guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya, and admitted to their Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre. He was found with self-speech, auditory hallucinations, and poor personal hygiene, requiring urgent psychiatric care.

He underwent medical treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation for two months. After tracing his family and ensuring medical stability, Snehalaya facilitated his safe reunion on 10-02-2026. At the time of reunion, two months’ psychiatric medicines were provided, and the family was counselled regarding regular follow-up and medication adherence.

Kaadi’s journey from disappearance to restoration reflects the power of timely intervention, compassionate care, and renewed hope.
