ಅವರು ಮದ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿ ಅವಲಂಬನೆ (Alcohol Dependence Syndrome – ADS) ಮತ್ತು ತಂಬಾಕು ಅವಲಂಬನೆ (Tobacco Dependence Syndrome – TDS) ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕೇವಲ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಗಮನಿಸದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೃಶ್ಯವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಯಾಮಯ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಿರುಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜೀವವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡಿತು.ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರು, ಬೆಲ್ಲು ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಕೇವಲ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು. ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರ ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಈ ರಕ್ಷಾಕಾರ್ಯದ ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಯಿತು.

Auto Driver’s Alert Helps Save Man Battling Mental Distress in Manjeshwar

Manjeshwar, February 14, 2026: Near the busy auto stand of Manjeshwar, amidst the constant movement of vehicles and people, one man stood disconnected from reality. Mr. Bellu Reddy, a native of Tamil Nadu, was found wandering in confusion speaking aggressively, uttering irrelevant words, smiling and talking to himself, and unaware of his surroundings.
