ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ದಿನಗಳು ಒಂದು ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ,
ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾದ ಮಗನ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಶಬ್ದವಾದ ಮನೆ,
ಹೇಳಲಾಗದ ನೋವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳು…

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 05, 2026: ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾಲ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯುವಕನೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಘಟನೆ ಬಿಹಾರದ ದರ್ಭಂಗಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ರೂಪೇಶ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ (ಪಿತೃನಾಮ: ಮನೀಶ್ ಸಿಂಗ್), ಬರ್ಗಾವ್ ಗ್ರಾಮ, ಕುಶೇಶ್ವರ ಅಸ್ಥಾನ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತೀವ್ರ ಚಿಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ನಾಪತ್ತೆ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ರೂಪೇಶ್ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿಯವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯು ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅವರು ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಉತ್ತಮ ವೇತನದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ದಾಂಪತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿರುಕು ಬಿದ್ದು, ಪತ್ನಿ ದೂರವಾದರು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಈ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಮರಳುವಿಕೆ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದೆ.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 29, 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ರೂಪೇಶ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ , ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಪಡೆದು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ವಸತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು. ನಿರಂತರ ಶೋಧ, ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಫಲವಾಗಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಮುಂಬೈ ಇವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಜನವರಿ 28, 2026 ರಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಪೇಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧೋಪಚಾರ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಿಹಾರದ ದರ್ಭಂಗಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬರ್ಗಾವ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸ್ವಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ದೃಶ್ಯವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್, ಮುಂಬೈ ಇವರ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಹಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವು ರೂಪೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಮುರಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಭರವಸೆ, ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬಂಧಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು..

ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಜೀವ,

ಕಾಣದ ನೋವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬದುಕಿನ ಭಾರ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರಬಹುದು…
ಅಂತಹವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಡಿ, ಅವರು ಅಪರಿಚಿತರಾಗಿರಬಹುದು,

ಆದರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಮಗ, ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಸಹೋದರ, ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಜೀವದ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು.
ಒಂದು ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಕರೆ, ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ

ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನಗು ತಂದುಕೊಡಬಹುದು.

Long-Awaited Homecoming: Rupesh Singh Reunited with Family After One Year

Manjeshwar, February 05, 2026: Rupesh Singh , C/O Manish Singh and a resident of Bargaon village, Kusheshwar Asthan Police Station, Darbhanga district, Bihar, was successfully reunited with his mother and brother after being missing for one year. Rupesh has a past history of mental illness for the last eight years and has been under treatment for the past one year. Despite his disappearance, no formal missing complaint had been lodged by the family, though they remained concerned about his wellbeing.

According to his mother, before the onset of mental illness, Rupesh was a well-behaved, responsible person and was earning a good salary. However, due to his mental health condition, his married life was affected, and his wife eventually left him. Rupesh has four brothers, and the family expressed deep emotional relief upon his return.

Rupesh was picked up on 29-12-2025 by Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, Kerala, and was provided with necessary care and support. After continuous efforts and coordination, his reunion was successfully facilitated on 28-01-2026 through a collaboration between Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai. During this period, he was provided with two months of medication, and family counseling was also conducted to ensure a smooth reintegration into his household. The emotional reunion took place at his native residence, C/O Manish Singh, Bargaon,Kusheshwar Asthan, Darbhanga,Bihar.

His family response during the reunion was very positive and grateful, appreciating the compassionate efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, whose dedicated humanitarian service helped restore hope, dignity, and family bonds in Rupesh’s life.
