ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜನವರಿ 19, 2026: “ಕೆಲವರು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ… ಅವರು ಬದುಕಿನ ಗದ್ದಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.” ವಾಹನಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ಗದ್ದಲ, ಧೂಳು–ಶಬ್ದಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ, ತೊಕ್ಕೊಟ್ಟು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸಮೀಪ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಅವನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ದಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದ ಗುರುತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೇ ಸೇಖಿಂದರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ —ಬಿಹಾರದ ಮೂಲದವನು, ಬದುಕಿನ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಮನಸ್ಸು.

“ದೇಹ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ, ಮನಸ್ಸು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”

From Disorientation to Dignity: Snehalaya Rescues and Rehabilitates Sekindhar Kumar Bishwas

Manjeshwar, January 19, 2026: In yet another timely humanitarian intervention, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre rescued and admitted Sekindhar Kumar Bishwas, a vulnerable individual found in a severely disoriented condition near Thokottu Nera Bridge, Mangaluru.

Originally hailing from Bihar, Sekindhar Kumar Bishwas was observed wandering aimlessly, exhibiting disoriented behavior, self-talk, and poor personal care, indicating an urgent need for psychosocial support. The matter was first reported by Mr. Santharaj (Thokottu), and the information was promptly conveyed to Br. Joseph Crasta, enabling immediate intervention.

Responding without delay, the Snehalaya rescue team reached the location and safely brought Sekindhar Kumar Bishwas to the rehabilitation centre on January 16, 2026, where he has been admitted for care and recovery.

At Snehalaya, he is now under protective supervision, receiving not just medical attention but also humane care, dignity, nourishment, and emotional support—the foundations essential for restoring lives affected by mental and social vulnerability.
