Manjeshwar, January 07, 2026: Arjun, son of Janulal and a native of Mahidpur Road village in Nagda tehsil of Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, was joyfully reunited with his mother and brother after being missing for one year. Arjun has a history of mental illness and was previously employed in a factory before he went missing. Although no formal missing complaint was filed, his family made continuous efforts to search for him during this period.

According to family members, Arjun had left his village with a lorry driver and subsequently went missing. Despite extensive searches in several places, his whereabouts remained unknown, causing deep emotional distress to the family.

On October 16, 2025, Arjun was found wandering in a disoriented and confused state at Mangalore Junction Railway Station. Information regarding his condition and location was promptly shared by RPF Police Officer Mr. Sudheer, following which Br. Joseph Crasta and the Snehalaya rescue team immediately intervened and rescued him.

After the rescue, Arjun was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar, Kasaragod, where he received psychiatric treatment, medical care, and emotional support. At the time of admission, he was unable to provide clear personal details, and his condition indicated significant mental health challenges. Snehalaya Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, initiated sustained efforts to trace his identity and family background.

These efforts bore fruit on December 12, 2025, when Arjun was safely reunited with his mother and brother at his native village in Madhya Pradesh. The reunion was deeply emotional, with family members, villagers, and neighbors expressing immense happiness and relief on seeing him return home after a year of uncertainty.

This successful reunion stands as a strong testament to the compassionate and dedicated humanitarian service of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, whose coordinated efforts helped restore dignity, hope, and family bonds for a person lost to circumstances beyond his control.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜನವರಿ 07, 2026: ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬದುಕು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಂತೆ…ಗೊಂದಲ, ಗದ್ದಲ, ದಿಕ್ಕುತಪ್ಪಿದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು.

ಆ ಗದ್ದಲದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಒಂದು ಮೌನದ ಆತ್ಮ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಅವರೇ ಅರ್ಜುನ್. ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಉಜ್ಜೈನ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಾಗ್ಡಾ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಮಹಿದ್ಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜನೂಲಾಲ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಅರ್ಜುನ್,ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ಅಜ್ಞಾತದ ದಾರಿಯತ್ತ ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯ ಕೆಲಸದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಲಾರಿ ಚಾಲಕನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟ ಆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂದೂ ಮುಗಿಯದ ಕಾಯುವಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನವೂ ಒಂದು ದೂರಿನಂತೆಯೇ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಸಹೋದರರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾತ್ರ “ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ?” ಹುಡುಕಾಟಗಳು ನಡೆದವು, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳು ಏರಿದವು, ಆದರೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೌನವಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿಯಿತು.

ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ… 2025ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 16ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಿಕ್ಕುತಪ್ಪಿದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ, ಗೊಂದಲದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದ ಆರ್.ಪಿ.ಎಫ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಅವರ ಗಮನ ಒಂದು ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ತಿರುವು ನೀಡಿತು. ಆ ಒಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡದವರೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು ಆಶೆಯ ಪಯಣ. ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಔಷಧ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಮಾತು, ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ, ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಔಷಧವಾಯಿತು. ಹೆಸರಿಲ್ಲದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು, ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ ಮರಳಿ ಬರುವವರೆಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ನಿಂತಿತು.

ವಿವರಗಳು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಗುರುತು ಮಸುಕಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಆದರೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿತ್ತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಫಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು. 2025ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 12ರಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ಕೈ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಗನ ತಲೆಗೆ ತಾಕಿತು. ಸಹೋದರರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷದ ನೀರು ಮಿನುಗಿತು.

ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಯುವಿಕೆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗಿತು. ಗ್ರಾಮ, ನೆರೆಹೊರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲೂ ನಿರಾಳತೆಯ ನಗು ಅರಳಿತು. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ಜಯ. ಸೇವೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿ.ಕರುಣೆಯ ಕಥೆ.
