Manjeshwar, January 05, 2026: Mr. Kvaja Bande Navaz was safely rescued by the Snehalaya team from the Manjeshwar Auto Stand on January 02, 2026, at around 03:15 PM, after being found in a vulnerable condition.
The rescue operation was initiated following information received from Mr. Badurudd in, an auto driver. Acting promptly on the information, the Snehalaya team reached the Manjeshwar Auto Stand and carried out the rescue. Considering his condition and the immediate need for care and protection, he was safely taken under the care of Snehalaya.
Following the rescue, Mr. Kvaja Bande Navaz was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for further care and support. Necessary medical attention, observation, and psycho-social assistance have been initiated.
Further assessment procedures are currently underway, and efforts are being made to understand his background and trace his family members.
Under the guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya continues its humanitarian mission of rescuing individuals in distress, providing rehabilitation, and restoring dignity to vulnerable persons.
