Mangaluru, December 29, 2025: A man identified as Mr. Uday was safely rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a vulnerable condition at the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station. The rescue operation was carried out by the Snehalaya team following information received from the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
Considering his physical and mental condition, and the immediate need for care and protection, the Snehalaya team promptly shifted Mr. Uday to the rehabilitation centre on 23/12/2025. He has since been provided with essential medical attention, observation, and psychosocial support.
The team has initiated the necessary assessment procedures and efforts are underway to trace his family and understand his background.
Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya, the organisation continues its humanitarian mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and restoring dignity to individuals found in distress.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 29, 2025: ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಪಡೆ (RPF) ಯಿಂದ ಲಭಿಸಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದೆ.
ಅವರ ದೈಹಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ 23/12/2025 ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
