Siddharth Reunited with His Father in Bijapur Through the Compassionate Efforts of Snehalaya

Manjeshwar, December 27, 2025:
Through the selfless service and dedicated guidance of Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, a man named Siddharth, who had been wandering in a vulnerable condition, was successfully reunited with his father in Bijapur.

The reunion was made possible under the leadership and guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya, whose timely intervention brought immense relief and emotional comfort to the family.

Siddharth was identified on December 21, 2025, at Narayana Mangala, Kumble, after journalist, social activist, well-known TV anchor, and writer Mr. Ravi Naikap informed Brother Joseph Crasta about his condition. With the support of local public representative Mr. Gopalakrishna, Siddharth was admitted to Snehalaya for care and protection.

At the time of admission, Siddharth was found to be in a vulnerable state, exhibiting signs of wandering behaviour, poor personal hygiene, and limited verbal communication. Recognising the urgency of the situation, the Snehalaya team provided him with immediate shelter, essential care, and continuous psycho-social support. Parallel efforts were undertaken to trace his family.

Through consistent follow-up and coordinated efforts, the team successfully traced his family in Karnataka. On December 23, 2025, Siddharth was reunited with his father, Mr. Babu, in Bijapur. The reunion was deeply emotional, bringing immense relief and joy to the family while restoring a long-lost familial bond.

This successful reunification once again highlights the humanitarian mission of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, under the leadership of Brother Joseph Crasta  committed to rescuing the vulnerable, providing care and rehabilitation, and restoring dignity, hope, and family connections to those in need.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 27, 2025: ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಇವರ ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ತಂದೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು, ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದ್ದು, ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾರ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.

ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 21, 2025ರಂದು ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆಯ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಮಂಗಳದಿಂದ ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ, ಸಮಾಜಚಿಂತಕ, ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಟಿವಿ ಆಂಕರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬರಹಗಾರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ನಾಯ್ಕಾಪ್ ಅವರು ಬ್ರದರ್. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ರವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣರವರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಾಖಲಾಗುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾತುಮಾತು ಎಂಬ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ದುರ್ಬಲ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರಂತರ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿತು. ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ, ತಂಡವು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 23, 2025ರಂದು, ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಬು ಇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಿಜಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕ್ಷಣ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತಸದ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆ ಎಳೆದಿತು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವಾ ಧ್ಯೇಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಅಸಹಾಯಕರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಆರೈಕೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಗೌರವ, ಆಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಡುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
