Manjeshwar, December 23, 2025 : A man identified as Mr. Sunil was safely rescued and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found wandering near the Thokottu bus stand, based on information provided by public person Mr. Roshan D’Souza. Considering his vulnerable condition and immediate need for care, he was brought to the centre by the Snehalaya team.
According to available information, Sunil was found exhibiting poor communication, poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, use of TDS, and lack of orientation. Observing that he required urgent medical and psychological attention, the Snehalaya team promptly coordinated his rescue and ensured his safe admission.
Sunil was admitted on 21/12/2025 and is currently undergoing medical examination, psychological assessment, and rehabilitation treatment at the centre. Under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta , Founder of Snehalaya, the team has initiated comprehensive care and is actively working to collect his personal details and trace his family members.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 23, 2025: ತೊಕ್ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಬಳಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೋಷನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ತಂಡವು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತುರ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.
ಲಭ್ಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಸುನಿಲ್ ಅವರು ದುರ್ಬಲ ಸಂವಹನ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಅಲೆದಾಟದ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಹಾಗೂ ದಿಕ್ಕು–ಅರಿವಿನ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತುರ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿತು.
ಸುನಿಲ್ ಅವರನ್ನು 21/12/2025 ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡವು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
