Mangaluru, December 12, 2025: A man identified as Bhagavandas was rescued by the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre team from Mangaluru Junction Railway Station after he was found wandering in a disturbed and helpless condition.
According to the information shared with Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust , Bhagavandas was noticed with swelling in his hand, ADS symptoms, and wandering behaviour. He also exhibited suspiciousness, self-smiling, irritability, and irrelevant speech, indicating significant psychiatric distress and the need for immediate intervention. Acting promptly, the Snehalaya team ensured his safe rescue and protection.
Bhagavandas was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on December 12, 2025, where he is now receiving appropriate medical treatment, psychiatric evaluation, and psychological support. Rehabilitation efforts are underway to stabilize his condition and help him regain wellbeing.
