November 27, 2025: On Wednesday, the rescue team of Snehalaya once again proved their dedication to humanity by swiftly responding to a distress call regarding a young woman found in a vulnerable state at Kasaragod Railway Station. The information was provided by RPF Police Officer Mr. Mahesh C. Krishnan, who noticed the woman wandering alone on the platform in a confused and disoriented condition. The woman — later identified as Mrs. Shiji A , 31 years old appeared mentally disturbed and unable to communicate her personal details or whereabouts.

Upon receiving the alert, the Snehalaya team, under the guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, immediately reached the railway station and evaluated her situation. Considering her fragile mental state, she was safely rescued and brought to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on November 26, 2025. She is now under the care of the medical and rehabilitation team, where she is receiving psychiatric assessment, medical attention, and continuous support. According to the medical staff, her condition is being closely observed, and she has begun showing initial signs of stability.
