Manjeshwar, November 25, 2025: On Thursday, the rescue team of Snehalaya once again demonstrated their commitment to humanity by responding swiftly to the case of a man found wandering in a disturbed and helpless condition on Montepadav Street.
According to information provided by a local resident, Mr. Ansar from Montepadav, the man — identified as Santhosh — appeared mentally unstable, confused, and unable to share any personal details. Concerned for his safety, Mr. Ansar immediately informed the Snehalaya team.
Acting without delay, the rescue team led by Br. Joseph Crasta reached the location and assessed the situation. Santhosh was then safely brought to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre and admitted on November 21, 2025. He is currently receiving comprehensive care, including psychiatric evaluation, medical treatment, and rehabilitation support.
According to the medical staff, his condition is being closely monitored, and he is showing early signs of improvement.
This rescue highlights the importance of public awareness and timely reporting when encountering individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
